Pune: Punekars are yet again facing the sweltering heat throughout the day as the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) Pune had predicted that the maximum and minimum temperatures will rise above the average in October. Therefore, the effect of ‘October heat’ will be felt, and the dew in the morning is also expected to be less.

As per further information, with the beginning of October, rains have stopped pouring in Pune city. For the last four to five days, the dry weather has increased the heat of the sun. There is also a gradual increase in the maximum temperature which is lower than the average. Due to this, the heat of the sun has started to feel more during the day.

Compared to last year, the people of Pune will have to face the ‘October heat’ this year. Last year due to rainfall in October and lower-than-average maximum temperature, citizens did not feel the hot sun. This year there is no chance of rain in the city in October and the maximum temperature is expected to rise by one to two degrees above the average. Therefore, summer heat will be felt more and citizens need to take precautions.
