Pune : Work Begins For DP Road Connecting Balewadi to Wakad
PUNE: Guardian Minister Chandrakant Patil conducted an inspection of a 30-meter stretch of DP Road leading to Balewadi Mamta Chowk to Balewadi-Wakad Bridge, accompanied by city engineers and Pune Municipal Corporation officials.
Ex-Corporator Amol Balwadkar, along with fellow corporators Jyoti Kalamkar and Swapnali Saikar, all of whom are BJP representatives, expressed their consistent efforts in pushing for the progress of this road with the administration.
According to the provided information, the installation of drainage and drinking water pipelines on the road, as well as the re-plantation of trees affected by the construction, were addressed. Detailed discussions took place between all parties involved to address the obstacles hindering the road work.
Additionally, the 18-meter DP Road in front of Kunal Aspire Society was also reviewed. The aim is to resolve the issue of traffic congestion in the Baner-Balewadi area promptly by completing this road within the shortest possible timeframe.
Necessary measures will be taken to acquire the required land for this road. The bridge connecting Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) and Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) will provide further benefits to the numerous residents in the area. Present at the event were Shashikant Balwadkar, Engineer of Smart City Development Company Abhijit Kewadkar, Veer Pawar, Contractor M.B. Patil, Mayur Kanke, Anil Atkare, Junior Engineer of Pune Municipal Drainage Department Asmita Ghogre, and Nangre.
