Pune court grants bail to Vaishali hotel owner’s son in law

Pune: In a shocking incident that unfolded on Thursday, the workers at Pune’s renowned Vaishali Hotel, situated on Fergusson College (FC) Road, fell victim to a violent assault by a gang of four individuals. The Deccan police station has registered a case against the four individuals.

The accused individuals have been identified as Irfan Sheikh, Sushil Sandbhor, Vishwajit Jadhav, and Chaudhary. The complaint was filed by Nikita Jagannath Shetty. The gang forcefully entered the hotel premises, subjecting the workers to verbal abuse and even confiscating the CCTV DVR system.

According to the police, the workers were not only verbally harassed but also physically assaulted. They also threatened to kill them. It is worthy to note that this incident comes on the heels of a recent attempt to seize control of the Vaishali Hotel at gunpoint. Another case has already been registered at the Shivajinagar Police Station, involving four individuals, including Vishwajit Vinayakrao Jadhav (38 years old), who allegedly sought to forcibly assume the role of General Manager at Vaishali Hotel.

Authorities are actively engaged in investigating both cases and are determined to apprehend the culprits responsible for these heinous acts of violence.
