Pune ZP issues show cause notice to education official for no prior notice of action

Group education officials in the Pune district have received a show-cause notice from the Zilla Parishad (ZP) education department for taking action against unapproved schools without notifying the department. 

It was discovered that certain CBSE schools in Pune had forged state government no-objection certificates. Therefore, in accordance with directives given to officials of the education department in Pune, officials of the education ministry took action against these schools. For roughly eight or nine months, nothing was done about these schools in spite of the directives.

Action was taken against these schools by a Haveli Panchayat Samiti group education officer, who also released a list of these institutions. However, the education officer was given a show-cause notice since the list of unapproved schools was released without first informing ZP officials.

It was discovered a few days ago, according to a senior official from the Pune ZP office, that numerous well-known schools in Haveli taluka are not authorized.

Because the primary district education officers were not notified in advance of the publication of the list of unapproved schools, there was a stir in the education sector. As a result, a show-cause notice has been sent and an explanation has been requested from the education officer.
