Sindhu’s father, PV Ramana, revealed that the match was finalised just a month ago. The two families knew each other, but everything was finalised only recently. This month was the only possible window for the wedding because Sindhu has a hectic schedule from January.
The wedding ceremony will take place on December 22 in Udaipur, followed by a reception in Hyderabad on December 24. Sindhu will resume training soon after.
Venkata Datta Sai is the executive director of Posidex Technologies. Interestingly, Sindhu had unveiled the company’s new logo last month. Sai is the son of GT Venkateshwar Rao, managing director of Posidex and a former Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officer.
Sai holds a Diploma in Liberal Arts from the Foundation for Liberal and Management Education and a BBA in Accounting and Finance from FLAME University. He later earned a Master’s degree in Data Science and Machine Learning from the International Institute of Information Technology, Bangalore.
According to his LinkedIn profile, Sai has worked with JSW and Sour Apple Asset Management before joining Posidex in 2019. In his bio, he mentions developing proprietary search engines for major banks like HDFC and ICICI.
Sindhu’s marriage marks a significant personal milestone as she balances her illustrious sports career with her personal life.
