Raghav Juyal Credits ‘Kill’ for His Breakthrough Role in Bollywood
Raghav Juyal, known for his dancing prowess and comic hosting on dance reality shows, is making waves as an actor with his role in ‘Kill’, directed by Nikhil Nagesh Bhat. Juyal’s performance as the antagonist, Fani, has been hailed as a turning point in his career.
‘Kill Continues to thrive in theaters, earning over ₹20 crore in its third week. The movie stars Lakshya and Tanya Maniktala and follows the character of Army commando Amrit, who boards a train with his girlfriend and her family, only to face a brutal attack by Fani and his gang.
Juyal, 33, revealed that he felt a breakthrough coming when he first auditioned for the role. “While watching the auditions, I realized this character is going to open doors for me as an actor in this industry, and it did. Everyone loved it, and I got amazing reviews,” he said in an interview.
Admitting that the role of Fani has been pivotal for his career, Juyal shared an exciting moment when filmmaker Anurag Kashyap praised his performance. “Anurag Kashyap sir messaged me and said, ‘I have watched the film and you have killed it.’ Hearing that from him is a dream come true. I feel like calling him and saying, ‘All the praise is fine, but I really want to work with you.’ Even if you make me an AD, it’s fine.”
Juyal has several projects lined up, including the web series ‘Gyaarah Gyaarah,’ a collaboration between Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and Guneet Monga’s Sikhya Entertainment, and the film ‘Yudhra’ directed by Ravi Udyawar.
