During a public meeting in Rae Bareli, Rahul Gandhi found himself facing a question about his marital status. Handling the query with humour, Rahul hinted at the possibility of tying the knot soon. The lighthearted exchange occurred during his campaign visit to the constituency, where Priyanka Gandhi Vadra is actively leading efforts.

Speaking at the public gathering, Rahul Gandhi, 54, found himself engaged in banter, with Priyanka Gandhi Vadra joining in, over his unmarried status. At the end of his speech, a member of the crowd inquired about his marriage plans. Initially evading the question, Rahul called Priyanka to join him at the front of the dais.

Expressing gratitude for Priyanka’s dedication to the Rae Bareli campaign, Rahul fondly acknowledged her efforts. Seizing the moment, Priyanka Gandhi urged her brother to respond to the query posed by a member of the audience.

When asked about his marriage plans, Rahul Gandhi responded with a smile, “Ab jaldi hi karni padegi” (Now, I will have to get married soon), deftly sidestepping the inquiry. The light-hearted moment unfolded during a public meeting in the Harchandpur area of Rae Bareli on Monday afternoon.

While Priyanka Gandhi remains actively involved in steering her brother’s election campaign in the constituency, Rahul made his first appearance thereafter filing his nomination papers.
