Ram Mandir Inauguration: Mukesh Ambani declares holiday for all its offices on January 22

Due to the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony at the Ayodhya Ram Mandir, billionaire Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Industries has declared a holiday for all of its offices nationwide on Monday, January 22. The announcement was made just hours after the company earlier today revealed its October–December quarter results for the fiscal year 2023–2024 (Q3FY24).

Reliance Industries announced a 11% increase in consolidated net profit to ₹19,641 crore from ₹17,706 crore in the same period last year. The third quarter of the current fiscal saw a 3.2% YoY increase in gross revenue to ₹2,48,160 crore, driven mostly by the consumer businesses’ sustained growth momentum.

On 19th January, it was announced by the Maharashtra government that January 22 has been declared a public holiday in Maharashtra too similar to other states

The general administration department of the state government officially release a notification about the holiday. Many of the BJP ruled states including Chhattisgarh, Goa, Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh have announced a public holiday on January 22 and even the Maharashtra government issued a circular about the holiday.
