An appeal has been made by the National Highway9 Authority of India (NHAI) to remove unauthorized encroachments and unlicensed constructions on the Pune-Solapur National Highway 65 within seven days at their own expense.

As per further information, within the boundaries of the Pune-Solapur National Highway under the jurisdiction of the National Highways Authority of India, Pune, it has been noticed that the adjoining property holders have made unauthorized encroachments from Km 8 to Km 252.350. Due to such encroachments, the expansion of National Highway 65 is hindered.

Therefore, unauthorized encroachments and constructions made during this length should be removed at your own expense. Otherwise, these encroachments will be razed on behalf of the authority under the Control of National Highways (Land and Transport) Act 2002, and the cost and penalty will be recovered from the concerned holder, NHAI Project Director Sanjay Kadam has informed.

At that time, the NHAI had appealed to people, who had encroached and had unauthorized constructions on the Pune-Solapur highway, to remove the encroachments and constructions on the Kasurdi to Kavadipat road of Pune-Solapur National Highway No 65 at its own expense within seven days.
