Residents of NIBM road held walkathon to celebrate Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav
Residents of over twenty five socities in NIBM Annexe, ahead of Cloud 9 held a walkathon in solidarity to show strength and unity by carrying flags from Raheja Vista circle to Sainik Vihar on August 14 on the occasion of Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav.
“It was a small gesture for our nation and for all those who sacrificed their lives. More than 200 people participated in the event,” said Tara Singh, secretary, Anandvan Parisar Residents Forum.
The residents including young children took part in the rallybwith great enthusiasm. I also thank our organisers Col Dr Sanjay Borse, Convenor Krishnan, Co Convener Sardar Tejpal Singh Suri, Co Convener, Rajeev Hemmady, Ravi Sudhakar and everyone who showed their love and respect towards their nation, ” added Tara Singh.
