Residents of Pimpri Chinchwad discuss issues from neighbourhood

Citizens of Pimpri Chinchwad and members of Pimpri Chinchwad Co-operative Housing Federation came together for an informal chat discussing about various issues plaguing the residents.

A meet and greet programme was organized by PCCF in Wakad’s Maxima Society on November 13.

Residents discussed various issues in the meeting ranging from improper roads, increasing encroachments, poor management of waste disposal, inadequate water supply, increasing crime incidents in the area.

Residents from Wakad, Rahatani, Ravet, Punawale, Thergaon, Tathawade were present for the meeting.

Dattatrya Deshmukh, chairman, Pimpri Chinchwad Housing Societies Federation said that the discussion was mainly on how residents contribution can help in expediting the issues in PCMC and resolving them. We also discussed how PCHSF can take the lead and act as a pressure group on the PCMC in resolving the issues.
