Land valuation process initiated, officials plan to complete it in 8 days

Pune : The district administration has started the valuation process for the villages in which measurements have been taken for the proposed ring road.

“We have finished almost 90 of the work related to measurement and the valuation process has been initiated. Out of the total number of villages which have been measured, 50% of the villages have been referred to town planning. We have decided the rates for the five villages from Maval. Meetings are conducted every week to decide on rate fixation,” said Rajesh Deshmukh, district collector. The land measurement process has been completed on the western side of the proposed ring road while on the eastern side, the process has been completed in 37 villages out of 47.

“We will complete the evaluation process for the remaining villages in the eastern side in the next three days. The funds have been sanctioned but it is yet to reach our accounts. We will finish the evaluation and other related processes within eight days,” said Rahul Vasaikar, Superintendent Engineer, Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC).
