Road Accident : 25 injured as bus falls from bridge on Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar-Jalna Highway

Pune: In a tragic incident, a speeding bus fell from the side of a bridge on the Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar-Jalna Highway on September 26 as the driver lost control of the bus.Â
As per further information, 29 passengers were present on the bus when the incident occurred. The private bus fell directly from the bridge as the driver lost control of the bus. It is reported that 25 passengers were injured in this terrible accident. The condition of 4 passengers is critical.
Those injured in the accident have been rushed to the hospital for treatment. The information has come to light that the bus involved in the accident belongs to Pooja Travels Company. According to the information received, this bus was heading towards Nagpur from Pune.
The bus was in Badnapur around midnight on 26th September when the driver lost control of the bus and the bus fell directly from the roadside bridge. This incident took place near the bridge on the Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar-Jalna highway near Maatrewadi Phata.
After getting information about this accident, Badnapur and Jalna police rushed to the spot. After that, the injured were admitted to the District General Hospital for treatment. Police are investigating further in this case.
