Cristiano Ronaldo, one of football’s all-time legends, has revealed his plans for the final years of his career. The 39-year-old Portuguese forward, who currently plays for Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia, has expressed his intention to retire at the club where he has been a key player since December 2022. Ronaldo’s journey from the streets of Madeira to becoming a global icon has been remarkable, but he is now focusing on the future with Al-Nassr.

In a recent interview, Ronaldo shared that he might retire within the next two to three years, most likely ending his career with Al-Nassr. “I am very happy at this club and feel good in this country. I want to continue playing here,” he stated. Despite speculation about a potential return to Europe or a final stint at Sporting Lisbon, where he began his career, Ronaldo remains committed to his current team.

Ronaldo’s illustrious career includes stints at Manchester United, Real Madrid, and Juventus, with impressive goal-scoring records at each club. At Real Madrid, he set a record with 450 goals in 438 appearances, and he has continued to excel at Al-Nassr, with 68 goals since joining. His performance at Euro 2024, where he played in every match but did not score, has led some to question the end of his international career. However, Ronaldo is eager to help Portugal in their upcoming UEFA Nations League matches.

Regarding his future after football, Ronaldo has dismissed speculation about a move into coaching. He clarified that he has no plans to become a coach and sees himself pursuing other interests outside the sport. “It doesn’t even cross my mind,” Ronaldo said about coaching. “I see myself doing other things, but only time will tell.”

As Ronaldo approaches the final chapter of his career, he continues to focus on his current role and contributions to both his club and national team.
