Mandar Chandwadkar, known for his role as Atmaram Tukaram Bhide in the beloved sitcom ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’, has firmly dispelled the circulating rumours about his departure from the show. The actor took to Instagram to address the false reports that suggested he was leaving the popular series.

In his video message, Mandar clarified, “Guys, please do not believe in rumours, and please do not spread them. TMKOC show has been entertaining all of you since 2008, and it will continue the same in coming years. Just wanted to convey the truth, so I posted this reel. Lots of gratitude and lots of love.”

This clarification follows similar rumours about other cast members, including Sharad Sankla, who plays Abdul. Sankla had previously addressed and dismissed claims that he was leaving the show, explaining that while his character’s absence was part of the storyline, he remains a committed part of the series.

Despite these clarifications, the show, which has been on air for over 16 years, has seen a number of cast changes recently. Characters like Disha Vakani, Raj Anadkat, and Shailesh Lodha have left, and the recent departure of Kush Shah, who portrayed Goli, has further fueled speculation about the show’s stability.

Mandar’s recent Instagram video highlights his continued involvement with the show and counters the misleading information circulating on social media. He expressed his dedication to ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’, reassuring fans that he will remain with the show as long as it continues.

In the face of ongoing rumours and cast changes, the show maintains its position as one of the longest-running and most-watched sitcoms on Indian television, continuing to captivate audiences with its engaging and humorous content.
