Roseland Residency Gate 1,2,3 extended help to needy
Residents of Roseland Residency Gate 1, 2, 3 extended help to the members of The Great Bharat Circus who suffered badly due to the sudden lockdown.
The circus was running in full swing in Wagholi. The residents also helped the housekeeping staff, and provided meals to YCM hospital staff too.
Kailas Tile, Chairman of the society said, “After lockdown, the circus animals were sent to Reliance ResQ center in Jamnagar Gujarat by govt goods train. Circus had total of 90 staff, out of which many went to their natives in Assam and other parts by Shramik trains. But there were still 32 people who were still here and had no permanent homes. “”We donated them with 100 kg Rice, 50 kg Tur Dal, 20 litres cooking oil, Masks, soaps and sanitisers for them,” Tile added. Kalyani Tokekar and Jaee Ganu were instrumental in leading this initiative alongwith Kailas Tile who were supported by the society residents.
