Rotary Club of Pune NIBM Launches 'Smart Pathshala' Project to Empower Rural Schools in Chakan and Khed
Rotary Club of Pune NIBM Charitable Trust initiated and executed Project “Rotary ki Smart Pathshala” for 8 schools in Rural Areas of Chakan and Khed. Schools were provided with E-Learning Sets, Science Laboratory Set ups, Industrial Water purifiers, Clean and hygienic Pre-fabricated Toilet blocks for boys and girls. A special training workshops for teachers on use of Artificial Intelligence in teaching were also conducted.
Project was a CSR initiative of Nexteer Automotive India Pvt. Ltd. Synergy partners in the project were Rotary Club of Chakan and Rotary Club of Rajgurunagar.
The project was inaugurated and handed over on April 03, 2025. Chief guest for the ceremony was Hon. District Governor, RID 3131, Rtn. Shital Shah and the Guest of honour, Manish Basnale, Director, Nexteer Automotive India Pvt. Ltd. Rtn. Nitin Karandikar, President Rotary Club of Pune NIBM, Rtn. Ajit Walimbe, Chairman, Rotary Club of Pune NIBM Charitable Trust, Dignitaries of Rotary District 3131, President Dr. Amol Benke, President Rajan Jambhale, School Head Masters and staff, members of Rotary and local community and school children were present for the ceremony.
This initiative of Rotary Club of Pune NIBM Charitable Trust, was very well received and appreciated by the school staff and local community, as it provided much needed facilities for digital literacy and a smart future for the children in the Rural schools.
