Sangvi Police Arrests 3 People For Vehicle Vandalism in Pimple Saudagar

Pune: Acting on a tip-off, the Sangvi Police arrested 3 people for vandalizing 9 vehicles in the Pimple Saudagar area on Sunday.
Speaking to Pune Pulse, Shriram Paul, Police Inspector, Sangvi Police Station said, “On Sunday, we got a tip-off that 3 people have destroyed the windshields and all windows of 9 four wheelers. This incident took place between Kate Petrol Pump and Govind Garden Chowk. After receiving the information, at around 1:30 am, we immediately reached the spot and arrested all of them.”
Paul further said the motive behind this act of the 3 arrested is not clear. Prima facie, it seems that all of them, being drunk heavily, had destroyed the vehicles for fun.
A case has been registered under section 308 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). Further investigation is underway.
