School children visit INS Shivaji, Lonavala
As part of Navy Week 2022 outreach activities, 255 school students along with teachers of various schools in Lonavala and Pune visited INS Shivaji. The visit was aimed at creating awareness about various training facilities and providing exposure to young minds about opportunities in the Indian Navy. Various training facilities at NBCD School, simulators, and motivational museums were shown to the students.
The school children interacted enthusiastically with the officers and expressed their willingness to join the defense services and serve the nation.
