Shining Star Award ceremony held in Pune

“Taare Zameen Par” is an online community with 11K+ parents built by Sejal Ray. It is a platform to showcase talent for children and in turn create positive impact on mental health of families. This platform had 240+ live performances of children in a year includeing music, dance, painting, art&craft, scientific experiments, story telling, etc.

Around 70% of children went live for the first time through this online platform which supported them to build confidence, overcome stage fear, learn new skills and develop overall personality of the child as per feedback from parents. TZP in collaboration with Rhyns Ted Ed club conducts Ted Ed program which is an international platform and 10+ children from Pune are part of it. Multiple contests were conducted with participation from 1000+ families in two years. All the live sessions and the contests conducted as part of festival celebrations are completely free.

TZP community strongly believes each child is unique. It is important to recognise different talent and skills in children. Children who pursue their passion are happier and have a great mental health. With this belief, TZP came up with a program to recognise and felicitate the best talents namely TZP Shining Star Awards. Overall 350+ nominations were received. Total 51 children were felicitated across Maharashtra under different categories like Art, Culture, Academics, Technology, Social Cause, Fashion, Sports, All Rounder. Also 30 TZP Supporters were felicitated with TZP Star Contributor Award during this event.

TZP Core team members are Ekta Mehta, Surbhi Thakkar, Vibha Shinde, Aastha Katara Saini, Farhat Pedekar, Anjani Kushwaha.

Ekta Mehta was felicitated as State Ambassador for Maharashtra at the Shining Star Award Event. TZP core team members Aastha Katara and Farhat Pedekar were part of the event.

Shining Star Award event was held on 5 September at the Cambridge International School. Akurdi. The in-house Cultural team at the school ensured everything was well organised.
