Pune: In a shocking incident, a 16-year-old boy working in a food processing company in Hadapsar Industrial Estate passed away as air was pumped into his body with an air compressor pipe. The minor died on the spot due to this unfortunate incident. This incident took place on Monday afternoon.
As per information, the Hadapsar police have arrested the accused who was working with the deceased. The complainant, the deceased and the accused were working in a flour & food company in the Hadapsar Industrial Estate. Their accommodation was arranged in the company premises. Meanwhile, while the work of preparing flour was going on in the company, the accused jokingly put the compressor pipe in the private part of the deceased’s body. The air went into the deceased’s stomach with great speed. Due to this, he collapsed on the spot and died.
Ravindra Shelke, Police Inspector, Hadapsar Police Station, said that the case for this matter is registered under Section 304 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). The accused has been arrested. Further investigation is going on.
