Shocking !!! Hand grenade found during Pune Metro excavation work on Baner road 

A shocking event has come to light when a hand grenade was found in the Baner area of Pune city while the metro work was underway. The incident took place near IISER institute. This grenade was found while digging land for metro work. Concerns are being raised since the grenade was found in the area. 

As per further information, the bomb detection team immediately reached the spot to defuse the hand grenade, after which the hand grenade was successfully defused. Meanwhile, the traffic from Baner to University was also stopped for some time.

Upon receiving news of the incident, the Chatu-Sringi Police Station officers and staff, led by Senior Police Inspector Balaji Pande, swiftly arrived at the scene. Recognizing the potential danger, Inspector Pande promptly called the bomb disposal squad. The bomb detection and disposal team successfully secured and confiscated the hand grenade.
