An alarming incident unfolded at ”Hotel ‘Mama Da Dhaba’ in Katraj,” where a builder allegedly brandished a pistol and threatened four youths. The confrontation occurred on ‘March 2, around 9:30 PM, leading to the filing of a case at the Bharti Vidyapeeth Police Station.

The accused, identified as Rupesh Ramesh Paigude, residing in Dutt Digambar Heights, Shivane, now faces charges under IPC Section 506 (2) and Arms Act Sections 3 and 25. The complaint was filed by Sunil Kerba Kamble, a 54-year-old resident of Vinayak Nagar, Borhade Wadi, Moshi, and the proprietor of ‘Mama Da Dhaba.’

Assistant Inspector Kuldeep Bhatkar from Bharti Vidyapeeth Police Station shared details of the incident. Paigude, the alleged perpetrator, was seated in his car in the hotel’s parking lot when four young patrons reportedly tapped on his car window. This seemingly minor act triggered an aggressive response from Paigude.

Eyewitnesses claim that Paigude emerged from his vehicle, brandishing a pistol from his waist, and menacingly confronted the youths. Fearing for their safety, the young individuals swiftly left the scene. Kamble, the owner of the hotel, promptly reported the matter to the police.

The ongoing investigation, led by Assistant Inspector Kuldeep Vatkar, includes the examination of CCTV footage obtained from the hotel premises. The footage is expected to provide crucial evidence as authorities delve deeper into the troubling incident. Authorities are determined to uncover the truth and ensure justice prevails in this disturbing case.
