In a recent case in Nagpur, a 47-year-old psychologist was arrested for allegedly raping and blackmailing over 50 girls in the past 15 years. This psychologist, who has two children of his own, allegedly enticed young girls by pretending to offer counseling at residential camps.

As per information, three cases have been filed against him under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act and the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act.
According to the police, his method involved organizing personal development camps in rural areas such as Bhandara and Gondia, where he would sexually assault the girls. He also took explicit photographs of the victims and used them to blackmail them into silence about the abuse. Even after the girls got married, he continued to assault them by threatening them.
The psychologist has been accused of molesting multiple women in his neighborhood. The police have obtained CCTV evidence that shows him behaving inappropriately towards women. As a result, he has been attacked several times, but his behavior has not changed.
The situation was revealed after one of his former students, tired of the ongoing threats and abuse, filed a complaint with the Hudkeshwar police. Due to the severity of the allegations, the police have established a special investigation committee and are urging other victims to come forward.
