Shocking !!! School bus in Wagholi collides with tree; 2 students sustain minor injuries
On 4th December, a terrifying incident took place in Wagholi when a school bus of Rising Star School collided with a big tree, injuring 2 school students.
Speaking to Pune Pulse, Vishwajit Kaingade, Senior Police Inspector, Lonikand Police, said “Yesterday, the school bus collided with the tree as the driver lost control of the speed. Also, the steering wheel of the bus got jammed. 2 students sustained minor injuries after which they were immediately rushed to a nearby hospital. The students were later discharged.
As per further information shared by Kaingade, a woman on the road near the tree also developed fractures due to the impact of the school bus.
A case has been registered against the school bus driver at Lonikand Police Station under Sections 279, 337, 338 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). The driver has been arrested & further investigation is going on.
