Shocking !!! Worker dies by falling into fire duct at Arise International School in Ravet

Pune: A worker at Arise International School in Ravet lost his life on November 22 when he fell into a fire duct while carrying out cleaning and maintenance work on the fourth floor of the school.
The Ravet Police registered a case on Wednesday. The accused have been identified as contractor Chandpasha Shaikh and supervisor Rafiq Pathan.
As per information from police, the deceased person, identified as Deepak, worked at Arise International School in Ravet.
On November 22, while carrying out cleaning work on the fourth floor of the school, he fell into a fire duct seriously injuring his head and passed away. Thus, the complainant has alleged that the accused have not taken adequate safety measures during the cleaning operation as a result of which the victim died. The careless placement of a piece of flexible sheet to cover the fire duct is cited as the reason for his death.
The case at Ravet Police Station has been registered under Sections 304(A), 34 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). Further investigation is underway.
