Silent film pianist Robert Piéchaud to perform on 12 November in Mazda Hall
French pianist and composer Robert Piéchaud is back in Pune, conducting research at the National Film Archives of India for his repertoire of ciné-concerts !
Robert Piéchaud studied piano and organ under the tutelage of Claude Helffer and Gilles Harlé. He takes special interest in silent cinema and performs ciné-concerts regularly at the Louvre museum in Paris. Piéchaud is also an expert in music technology and, as a developer, works closely with the companies ‘MakeMusic’ and ‘IRCAM’.
Seating will be on a first come first served basis.
