Six candidates submit applications to contest Pimpri-Chinchwad Legislative Assembly bye-polls

Pimpri-Chinchwad: Congress party in Pimpri Chinchwad has geared up to prepare for the bye-poll election of Pimpri-Chinchwad Legislative Assembly. Till date six candidates have submitted their applications to Pimpri Chinchwad city Congress office, whereas more applications will be received at the Congress office. 
In this regard, the Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee has organized a meeting on February 2 in Mumbai in the presence of state president Nana Patole.

Kailas Kadam, Pimpri Chinchwad city president of Congress said, “Our attempt is to make sure that the Congress candidate gets elected in the Pimpri Chinchwad Assembly Constituency. Even if Mahavikas Aghadi’s candidate will be chosen, we will support the candidate and take responsibility for electing the candidate.”
