Smuggled goods worth Rs 37.70 lakh seized at Hyderabad Airport
Hyderabad, Oct 7 : Customs officials at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) in Shamshabad near here have seized smuggled goods worth Rs 37.70 lakh from an Air Passenger.
The officials seized 35 iPhones, Samsung devices and one smartwatch after verifying his baggage.
The passenger arrived at RGIA on a flight from Toronto and did not have the supporting documents for the seized goods.
Further investigation is currently underway, sources said.
