In a recent episode of Shubhankar Mishra’s podcast, the host discussed Sonali Bendre’s popularity in Pakistan and brought up Shoaib Akhtar’s alleged proposal. Bendre responded to the claim by expressing skepticism stating, “I don’t know how true this is, even in those times there used to be fake news.” This playful statement from the Pakistani cricket legend, where he purportedly threatened to ‘kidnap’ her, has caught the attention of Indian fans.

Mishra also mentioned Suresh Raina’s candid admission of his affection for Bendre. He revealed that in an interview, Raina had openly expressed his admiration for her and began blushing as soon as her name was mentioned.
