Special Tours for Grand Pandals in Mumbai and Pune; Check Details

Pune: In a unique initiative, the Maharashtra government’s Directorate of Tourism will organize guided tours of the famous Ganesh Pandals from September 19 to 28 in Mumbai and Pune.

As per the information, the entire tourism programme will be implemented by the Tourism Guide Association, which is based in Mumbai, Maharashtra. There are a total of 12 mandals that will be covered which includes 6 in Mumbai and 6 in Pune.

In Mumbai, the mandals that will be covered are Fort Cha Ichhapurti, Keshavji Naik Chawl, Chinchpokli Chintamani, Lalbaug Cha Raja, Ganesh Gulli and GSB Wadala.

In Pune, the mandals that will be covered are Kasba Ganpati, Tambadi Jogeshwari, Tulshibaug, Guruji Talim, Dagdusheth Halwai and Shrimant Bhausaheb Rangari Ganpati.

There will be 2 batches per day with a maximum of 20 people on each trip. The package is priced at Rs 300 per Indian tourist and Rs 700 per foreign tourist. Each group will travel in an air-conditioned tour bus with VIP access to pandals with a tour guide. It is a one-of-a-kind programme and provides a mix of historical, cultural, culinary, religious and spiritual experiences.
