Speeding dumper collides with school bus on Kirkatwadi-Nandoshi Road

PUNE: Around 9:30 am, an incident occurred wherein a speeding dumper collided with a school bus that was parked at Kirkatwadi Chowk. As a result of the collision, the student sustained minor injuries.

As per the information provided, the agitated parents proceeded to block traffic for a brief period. It is important to note that the incident occurred even after the district collector imposed a ban on heavy traffic along the Kirkatwadi-Nandoshi Road.

Residents have said that the lack of traffic police personnel at Kirkatwadi during the time of the incident is a cause for concern for the public who are forced to commute amidst heavy traffic.

While talking to Pune Pulse, Sachin Wangade, Police Inspector, Haveli, added, ”No complaint has been lodged against the dumper driver, resulting in no FIR being registered.”
