Pune: SPPU Exempts Coursework And Research Publication For Second PhD Candidates

Pune: The Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU)has declared the examination dates for Maharashtra’s State Eligibility Test (SET) for the post of associate professor.
As per information the exam will be conducted on April 7, 2024 and will be the last SET examination to be conducted online.
It is worthy to note that since 1995, the SPPU has been conducting this exam every year for the state of Maharashtra and Goa. This exam is conducted for 32 subjects and will be conducted at around 262 exam centers in 17 cities.
A student who has secured 55 per cent marks in the Master’s degree examination in any faculty or students who are studying in the final year will also be able to apply for this examination. This exam will be conducted in two languages i.e. English and Marathi.
The date of application for the exam has not been announced yet but it will be announced soon. The last SET exam was held on March 23, 2023, in which nearly four lakh students had enrolled.
