SPPU launches ‘Smart Interview Platform’ for students
Savitribai Phule Pune University has now come up with a new platform for students preparing for job interviews. Student interviews will be conducted on ‘Smart Interview Platform’ with the help of artificial intelligence and will be sent to various companies.
This opportunity is being made available through the joint efforts of Savitribai Phule Pune University and Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation Smart City Project. Students will be imparted the skills they need to find employment through this platform as well as help in creating opportunities globally.
The initiative was inaugurated Vice Chancellor of Savitribai Phule Pune University. On this occasion, Pro-Vice Chancellor Dr N S Umrani, Head of Innovation Cell Dr Apoorva Palkar, Dean Dr. Sanjeev Sonawane, Dr Manohar Chaskar, Dr Parag Kalkar, Senate member Santosh Dhore were present on the occasion. The event was attended by principals, professors and placement officers of various colleges in Pimpri Chinchwad.
Dr Palkar said that students from all colleges in Pimpri Chinchwad will be able to use it free of cost on this platform where more than 300 companies are connected. He also said that soon this initiative will be launched on Degree Plus platform for all students with a nominal fee.
“At a time when the world is constantly changing, what happened yesterday needs to be incorporated in the curriculum today. Smart Interviews is a similar platform that will help students become industry ready and connect with companies all over the world,” said Dr Nitin Karmalkar, Vice Chancellor, Savitribai Phule Pune University.
You will be interviewed by an AI – Representatives of many companies will be able to watch the interview – It helps in providing employment opportunities – Students will have the opportunity to develop skills through interviews.
