SPPU ranks to 210th spot from 207 in QS Asia University Rankings 2024

Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) saw a slight drop in its ranking, moving from 207th place to 210th in the esteemed QS Asia University Rankings for 2024.

Conversely, Symbiosis International (Deemed University) made notable advancements, progressing from the 351-400 rank range to the 261-270 bracket. IIT Bombay secured the highest position among Indian universities at 40th, followed by IIT Delhi at 46th, and IIT Madras at 53rd. The top position was claimed by Peking University, trailed by The University of Hong Kong, the National University of Singapore, and Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.

The rankings are formulated based on 11 key indicators, encompassing factors such as academic reputation, employer reputation, faculty/student ratio, international research network, citations per paper, papers per faculty, staff with a Ph.D., proportion of international faculty, international students, inbound exchange students, and outbound exchange students.
