Strict Ban On Aerial Activities In Pune For PM Modi’s Visit
In anticipation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Pune on September 26 and 27, 2024, District Collector Dr. Suhas Diwase has issued a stringent order banning all private aerial activities across the city. The directive aims to prevent any potential security risks during the high-profile event.
The ban, effective from midnight on September 26 until midnight on September 27, applies to Pune city, Pimpri-Chinchwad, and the rural district. It prohibits activities like paragliding, drone operations, hot air balloon rides, and microlight aircraft flights.
Violators of this order will face legal action under Section 223 of the Indian Penal Code, ensuring strict enforcement of the security measures during the Prime Minister’s visit.
