Sucasa society in Wakad holds unique community kitchen and serves 200 underprivileged children

On the occasion of World food day Sucasa Society residents had executed an unique initiative wherein over 200 underprivileged children were served. This was done with the meticulous planning, preparation, and execution of preparing the food for 400+ residents, maids, staff and their families.

The event was called as Community Kitchen for all.

The event conceptualization was done by Avinash Sahoo, CEO of a successful IT startup in Pune, all food prep was done by Nitin Mahajan, logistics and finance was anchored by Sunil Agarwal, support was extended by all right from youngsters as young as 5 year to 70+ yrs.

The entire full course meal was prepared by the Sucasa residents, overwhelming support was extended by ladies in preparation of all menu items.

Lastly, we all made sure not even a single drop goes to waste, the last mile support was given by Robin Hood army to deliver the prepared food to more than 200 underprivileged late evening.
