Baramati constituency Member of Parliament Supriya Sule informed today to go on a hunger strike on November 20 as the MSEDCL has failed to take cognisance of setting up a sub station in Bavdhan even after multiple follow ups.

MP Supriya Sule is extremely dissatisfied with the lack of fulfilment and has now issued a direct threat to embark on a hunger strike.

As per the information received, space for the substation’s establishment has also been provided. Regrettably, no steps have been taken yet to initiate the setup of the substation, stated Sule on Twitter.

In an effort to draw attention to the matter, she tagged MSEDCL, Pune Municipal Corporation, PMRDA, and Pune District Collector in her tweet, further emphasising that she will personally undertake a hunger strike if no action is taken regarding the substation matter before November 20.

MSEDCL promptly acknowledged this matter and failed to address the substation issue. In response, residents announced a hunger strike scheduled for November 20, expressing their disappointment with the energy department’s inaction despite the suggested location being crucial for public convenience.
