Pune: Taking a firm stance against corruption in the education system, Suraj Mandhare,  State Education Commissioner has written a letter to the  Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) urging them to conduct a thorough and open investigation of the teachers and education officials involved in corruption cases. Mandhare wrote the letter just ahead of admission season to tackle corrupt practices.

In the letter, he also expressed concern over the accused officials, who will now return to their posts and engage in corrupt practices without facing any consequences in the cases filed against them. In order to tackle this issue head-on, Mandhare has called for comprehensive scrutiny of the accused individuals.

Confirming the receipt of the letter, Amol Tambe, Superintendent of Police,  Pune Zone of the Anti-Corruption Bureau, informed that they have already initiated open inquiries against the officials engaged in bribery cases in various districts.

Mandhare has sent similar letters to the Superintendents of Police of Anti-Corruption Bureaus in various regions across the state, emphasizing the importance of conducting thorough investigations into teachers and education officials involved in corrupt activities.
