Talawade Moshi traffic congestion to be resolved as road between Moshi and Shiva Rasta opened for vehicular movement

Pune: Mahesh Landge, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA inaugurated the Moshi Shiva Rasta to Pune-Nashik highway road at Moshi recently. The road was constructed to solve the traffic jam on Talawade to Moshi Road.

As per information, the municipal administration has taken up the task of constructing the road and will be completed within a year. Landge expressed the belief that the citizens and motorists will be able to travel traffic-free in residential areas along with industrial zones.

During the inauguration, Former mayor Rahul Jadhav, former corporator Sarika Borhade, Ashwini Jadhav, entrepreneur Santosh Baarne, Nilesh Borate, Nikhil Borhade, Santosh Jadhav, Sagar Hingane, Mangesh Hingane, Deepak Kute, Sachin Ghare, Sitaram Borate, Sandeep Saasawade, Bala Saasawade, Sandesh Alhat, villagers, citizens and society members of the area were present.

Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation’s Construction Department has completed 30 m wide DP road work from Ward no 2 Group no 1252 Shivarasta to Group no 752 (Pune Nashik Highway). Massive traffic congestion was a problem between Moshi and Dehu Phata. So, there was a need to develop this road.

Former Mayor Rahul Jadhav said that the completion of the road from Moshi Shiva Rasta to the Pune-Nashik highway will reduce the traffic congestion caused by vehicles travelling from Moshi to Dehu Phata towards Chikhli.

The road will also be available to the local farmers and society owners. Also, the construction of a new road through the Chikhli-Havaldar settlement will be taken up. So, in future, this road will be used as a parallel road to the Chikhali-Moshi road.
