Pune: Three individuals have been arrested for secretly recording videos of female workers at an Ayurvedic treatment center in Jejuri and allegedly threatening to make the footage viral on social media. The Pune police confirmed the arrests, which followed a complaint filed at Sahakar Nagar Police Station.

According to officials, the incident occurred on March 11 when two men visited the Ayurvedic treatment center under the pretense of seeking information. After inquiring about the treatments and the type of oil used, one of them, identifying himself as Rohit Waghmare, claimed to be the leader of a political party. He allegedly coerced a female worker into providing treatment under threats of shutting down the center.

Later, Waghmare and two others demanded ₹20,000, threatening to leak a secretly recorded video if their demand was not met. When the workers refused, the accused forcibly took ₹800 from the cash counter before leaving.

A police team, led by Senior Inspector Rahul Gaud and Assistant Inspector Sagar Patil, identified the suspects using technical analysis. With the help of Warje Malwadi police, three accused were arrested: Rohit Waghmare (29), Shubham Dhanwate (20), and Rahul Waghmare (36). They have confessed to committing similar crimes at multiple locations in Pune.
