Total voting percentage sees surge in teachers and graduate constituency elections in Pune division
Election for the Graduate and Teachers constituency is being held today in Pune at various polling booth stations.
Voting process is held at many stations observing the Covid19 safety guidelines issued by the state government. Voters were allowed with masks, temperature check with thermal guns and use of sanitisers and social distancing was maintained.Â
In Pune division till 12.30 pm on December 1, 2020, Graduate constituency – 19.44 % voting was recorded while teachers constituency recorded 26.25 %.
While the voting percentage increased till 2 pm.
Graduate constituency – 37.10 % and teachers Constituency – 54.03 %Â
Divisional commissioner of Pune Saurabh Rao visited various polling stations in the city today and took a stock of the voting process. Measures such as wheelchair, Covid19 safety kits are also provided at the polling centres.Â
