Traffic Diversion Implemented in Kondhwa Area : Sheetal Petrol Pump Chowk to Jyoti Hotel Chowk Affected
Pune traffic police issues diversion from Shivaji Nagar to Aundh road due to Metro flyover work
Temporary traffic restrictions have been enforced from Sheetal Petrol Pump Chowk to Jyoti Hotel Chowk in Kondhwa due to ongoing work on the drinking water pipeline.
These restrictions will remain in place until June 10. Commuters can use the Welcome Hall Junction and Mayfair Society Junction as alternative routes to reach their destinations.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic Branch), Vijay Kumar Magar, has clarified that one-way traffic will be allowed only from Jyoti Hotel Chowk to Sheetal Petrol Pump.
Motorists must plan their journey accordingly since road closure will put burden on parallel roads in the Kondhwa area adding to traffic woes.
