MUMBAI – A devastating collision occurred near Navale Bridge on the Mumbai-Bangalore Highway, as a dumper collided with a traveller. The incident, which took place at 6 am today, resulted in injuries to six passengers and the dumper driver.

The collision occurred on the stretch leading from Mumbai to Satara, near Vadgaon Bridge, when the dumper rear-ended the stationary VRL travel vehicle. Fortunately, there were no fatalities, but six individuals sustained injuries and have been hospitalized for treatment at a nearby private facility.

Authorities from the Sinhagad Road Traffic Police and Sinhagad Road Police swiftly responded to the scene, facilitating the removal of the vehicles using a crane. The investigation into the incident is ongoing under the jurisdiction of the Sinhagad Road police.
