The police arrested the suspect after receiving intelligence and information from the local community. Officials reported that the man claimed the girl died after he playfully slapped her and she fell. During interrogation, the man admitted to the crime but maintained that he did not intend to kill her. He stated that the slap was meant to be a joke, but the child accidentally hit her head on a kitchen slab, leading to her death. In a panic, he attempted to dispose of her body by burning it and hiding it in the bushes.
