Transformer at Nyati Estate society catches fire
The transformer installed at Nyati Estate in Mohamadwadi caught fire on May 5 night. The alert residents informed the fire station in the area who promptly doused the fire. It was notable that the security of the society informed the fire department about the incident. Yezdi Mogal, secretary, Nyati Estate informed that the society is now running on the second transformer installed in the society. He said, “We have informed the MSEDCL officials about the incident who assured us that the burnt transformer and other equipment will be replaced.”
When Pune Pulse spoke to MSEDCL officials at the Ganga Village sub division said that the staff is looking at the situation and in any case of such power fluctuation or other power issues must be alerted to the officials immediately for prompt action.
