Tuscan Society residents distribute food and clothes to underprivileged people Â
The formation of a charity group called “Little Hearts Initiative” has brought together the residents of Tuscan Estate in Kharadi and nearby societies such as Kumar Primavera. Their aim is to distribute food to the underprivileged in large quantities.
Recently, they have expanded their efforts to include the distribution of clothes, footwear, toys, and bags donated by their respective societies. The group has successfully conducted two major events on 11th November and 19th November.
As per the information provided, Little Hearts group conducts regular drives where members contribute and the group is currently expanding with over 80 members. The group’s mission is to address the significant issue of hunger and starvation-related deaths by providing used clothing, footwear, and toys in good condition to men, women, and children in need.
Some of the key members of the team, including Shiv Sahni, Ashok Agrawal, Renu Sugla, Shaina Rajendran, Neelam Ag Lalitha, Bhavani, Shambhavi, and many others, have expressed their strong determination to transform this mission into a significant revolution. With the support of over 80 members currently involved, they aspire to maintain this enthusiasm by recruiting numerous additional individuals for the cause.
As per the information received, first event took place on the 11th of November, coinciding with Diwali, where they bestowed Diwali gifts upon 100 families. These gifts included Mithai (sweets), Diyas (decorative lamps), Fuljhadi (sparklers), as well as Anar (firecrackers).
Additionally, they distributed over 400 garments to underprivileged children. The second event occurred on the 19th of November, during which we provided complete meals to 150 impoverished adults and children at their respective locations. Furthermore, they distributed more than 600 garments, along with some toys, footwear, and bags.Â
