Pune residents and travelers from Western Maharashtra have reason to celebrate, as two new international flight routes will soon be operational from Pune International Airport. Starting October 27, 2024, daily flights will connect Pune with Dubai, while a thrice-weekly service will operate between Pune and Bangkok.

These new flights are expected to enhance international travel options for residents, making it more convenient for both business and leisure travelers. The Pune-Dubai route will offer daily connectivity, providing direct access to one of the world’s most popular global destinations. Meanwhile, the Pune-Bangkok flights, operating three times a week, will open up easier access to Thailand’s capital, a major tourist and business hub in Southeast Asia.

The launch of these routes reflects Pune’s growing importance as an international gateway and is expected to bring significant benefits to travelers from the city and surrounding regions. With these additions, Punekars and people from across Western Maharashtra can look forward to improved connectivity for their international journeys.

The announcement is being seen as a positive step toward boosting Pune’s international reach and offering more options to frequent flyers in the region.
