Understanding the Ladka Bhau Yojana
The Maharashtra government has recently introduced the ‘Ladka Bhau Yojana,’ which was launched in July 2024. This initiative aims to provide state-funded apprenticeship opportunities. The apprenticeship program is designed to give candidates practical job experience while supplying skilled labor to various industries. The training will target around 10 lakh youth and will be available in both industrial and non-industrial environments.
The primary goal of this program is to offer financial support and hands-on work experience to young men.
The initiative is aimed at individuals who have completed their 12th grade, with a stipend of Rs 6,000 for diploma holders and Rs 10,000 for those with a bachelor’s degree.
Candidates must be between 18 and 35 years old and should have at least completed their 12th grade, ITI, diploma, graduation, or post-graduation. They must also be residents of Maharashtra and have their bank account linked to their Aadhar.
To apply, candidates should register on the website https://cmykpy.mahaswayam.gov.in as interns. They need to select either the “New User Registration” or “Intern Registration” option available on the main page of the site.

The industry you choose must operate within the state of Maharashtra. If you apply for the Ladka Bhau Yojana in Maharashtra, the government will offer you six months of training. Once you finish the training, you will begin to receive compensation benefits.
