Pune: Mansukh Mandaviya, Union Health Minister stated that the number of heart attacks in the country is increasing due to Covid-19.

As per further information, Mandaviya further said that people who have previously faced Covid may be at risk of heart attack and heart disease. Quoting a study by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), Mandaviya said that people with severe COVID-19 infection should not work hard for a year or two to avoid heart attacks.

Meanwhile, Mandaviya’s statement has made it clear that the major reason behind the increase in heart disease patients is the Coronavirus.

In this regard, cardiologists say that the number of heart attacks has increased after the coronavirus epidemic. During the examination of the patients, it became clear that the coronavirus caused blood clots in the arteries of the heart. These clots make it difficult for the heart to pump blood. This is causing them heart attacks. The main cause of clot formation is the side effects of corona.
